I'm Sepideh, a software engineer and an artist, and I know the gift shop from both sides.
Behind the counter, I help run a small artist-run gift shop: serving customers, keeping the inventory sheets up to date, and doing the books. In front of it, my watercolours sell in shops across the Lower Mainland, so I also know what it's like to drop off new pieces, keep up with what sold where, and wait for the payout statement.
The Consignment Republic brings both sides together: software that's thoughtfully designed, as easy on the eye as the shops it runs, and made for the way consignment really works, for the shop and for its artists.
